Organize open desktops by dragging them into your preferred order from the list on the bottom of the screen or right-click a desktop. Once it’s running, however, switching between multiple desktops is very smooth. With multiple desktops, it may become hard to tell them apart. You may also find that switching between desktops is a little slow the first time you do it, as it takes a second for each desktop to be created. Click the drop-down menu on the right, and choose an option to. Your Mac will display desktop photos from the photos found in the folder you choose here. (If you have multiple monitors, then each monitor will have its own Desktop window, named something like 'Secondary Desktop'.). New desktops created always share Desktop 1’s wallpaper. The program also won’t remember what you had open on each desktop once you shut down. It should be the second icon on the first row of the window. Set the wallpaper for Desktop 1, delete all other desktops, then recreate them. You can’t drag-and-drop windows from one desktop to the next. There are no animations to signal that you’ve switched between desktops. Keep in mind this is a very basic program. That’s about all there is to installing Desktops. (Windows 10 will support unlimited virtual desktops.) You can also switch by clicking on the Desktops icon in your system tray. As for the hotkeys, personally I stuck with the defaults of Alt plus numbers 1,2,3,4 for each desktop-the app supports four desktops, the standard on Mac and Linux.
